SuppStack - Supplement Stack Tracker

SuppStack is a checklist for people who take several vitamins or supplements and want to stop wondering "did I already take that today?". You add each product once, with a name, the amount you take, its form and a colour or photo, and then group them into stacks such as Morning, With Dinner or Before Bed.

Each stack can follow its own schedule — every day, chosen weekdays, gym days or an on/off cycle. On the Today screen you tick off a whole stack with one tap, or open it to tick individual items. A streak counter, a monthly calendar with coloured dots and completion rates per stack show how consistent you have been.

SuppStack only records what you decide to take; it does not recommend products or amounts. Everything is stored in your own browser, with no account.

The app runs entirely in your browser. What you enter is saved only on this device.

How to use SuppStack

  1. Add your supplements. Open the Supps tab and tap +. Enter a name and the amount you take as you would write it on a note (for example "1 capsule"), choose the form (capsule, tablet, powder, liquid or other) and a colour, and optionally add a photo, the count per container, the price and a memo.
  2. Create a stack. On the Today tab tap Add Stack. Name it, pick an icon and colour, tick the supplements that belong to it and choose a schedule: every day, specific weekdays, gym days or a cycle with on and off phases.
  3. Check off each day. The Today tab lists the stacks due today. Tap the check button to log the whole stack, or expand it to tick items one by one.
  4. Review the calendar. The Calendar tab marks each day with dots in your stack colours. Tap a date to see what was logged and spot missed days.
  5. Watch your consistency. The Stats tab shows your current and best streak, the completion rate of each stack this month and an activity heatmap.
  6. Edit as things change. Open any supplement or stack to change it, reorder items or delete it.

Keeping a supplement routine organised and safe

Why a checklist helps

When you take more than two or three products at different times of day, it is easy to double up or forget one. A simple checklist tied to an existing habit — breakfast, a workout, brushing your teeth — removes the guesswork. Grouping items into stacks by when you take them is the same idea as a pill organiser with morning and evening compartments.

If you take several stacks a day, put the bottles for each stack together in the place where that habit happens, so seeing them is part of the reminder.

Talk to a professional first

Dietary supplements are not reviewed for safety and effectiveness in the same way as medicines in many countries, and quality varies between products. Some vitamins and minerals can be harmful in large amounts, and some supplements interact with prescription medicines — for example, certain products can affect blood thinners, blood pressure medication or how other drugs are absorbed. Before starting, stopping or combining supplements, ask a doctor or pharmacist, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, take regular medication or are preparing for surgery.

Read labels carefully

Check the serving size, the ingredients and the amount per serving rather than the front of the pack. Multivitamins, fortified foods and single-nutrient products can contain the same ingredient, so totals can add up without you noticing. Writing the amount you take exactly as it appears on the label, and noting the brand in the memo, makes it easier to show your doctor what you actually use.

Storage and review

Keep products in their original containers, away from heat and moisture and out of reach of children. Note the expiry date, and review your list every few months: if you no longer know why you are taking something, that is a good question for your next appointment.

Frequently asked questions

Is SuppStack free in the browser?

Yes. Supplements, up to three stacks, daily logging, the calendar and the basic statistics work without an account.

Where is my data stored?

Only in this browser on this device, including photos. Nothing is uploaded. Clearing site data for this website or using a private window deletes it.

Does SuppStack recommend supplements or doses?

No. It only records what you enter. Ask a doctor or pharmacist for advice about what and how much to take.

Can it remind me to take my stack?

Not on the web. Browsers can't deliver reminders when the page is closed, so the reminder settings are not shown here.

What is a cycle schedule?

A cycle repeats a number of "on" days followed by "off" days from a start date you choose, for products you take in phases.

How is the web version different from the phone app?

Logging works the same way. The app's Pro upgrade adds unlimited stacks, advanced statistics, inventory tracking and backup; purchases are not available on the web.
